On May 8-10, 2008 the representative of the FAS Russia, Mrs. Ekaterina Belousova - Deputy Head of International Economic Cooperation Department, participated in International conference on «Current competition topics in Europe, with a special focus on the banking and energy sectors» on May 9th, 2008 and the Heads' Meeting on May 10th, 2008 in OECD Regional Centre for Competition (RCC) in Budapest.
The results of the RCC activity in 2007 and topics for upcoming events were discussed at the Heads' Meeting.
Moreover, within the frameworks of the visit Mrs. Ekaterina Belousova hold bilateral negotiations with Ms. Andrea Belenyi, Secretary-General of the Hungarian Competition Authority as well as with the OECD representatives on issues concerning establishment of the OECD-Russia Centre for Competition in Moscow.
In general, this visit resulted in opportunity to discuss the number of important for the FAS Russia issues and to express the FAS Russia opinion on the RCC activity and participation of the FAS Russia experts in the RCC events.
